Magically Optimize Your BUSINESS STRATEGY + AUTOMATION with Jen Levitz

My guest on this episode  makes magic happen when it comes to the tech behind launching, marketing, and automations. Take a look at her branded marketing and you’ll see she even has the wand to prove it.

In Jen’s words, she once lived the life of a Business Muggle, at times feeling powerless and wishing she could just take a quick broomstick ride to success. Until one day, Jen discovered the magical blend that would change her business and life forever. Now today, she teaches entrepreneurs how to brew their own special profit potions!

As a life-long lover of learning, Jen takes every opportunity to soak up knowledge that will improve the systems and operation of any business. That is her Ravenclaw soul shining through her work. The success of the businesses Jen and her team works with is, and always will be, their number one priority and passion.

We had a great conversation about systems and strategy that I think online entrepreneurs will reap the benefits from — no matter what stage you are at in your business.

Captivating Quotes from this Episode:

6:02 “So I’ve been doing this whole- sending emails to people and doing it with love, really sending that love through email, which feels kind of weird to say because email can be spammy. But it also can be that place of love and touch point for clients. And how do we do multiple things within a system to show that love because for me marketing is love. Marketing is about showing up and showing someone that you love them even if they are many miles away or next door.”

25:00 “As a bigger business, you’re looking more holistically at all the different pieces. And that for sure is when an agency is going to come into play for your business…{beyond the launch calendar} How do I optimize the operational side of my business? Are there things we can systematize in our tech in our tech stack? Are there ways we can optimize things so that that everything runs more efficiently and effectively, to  allow their team to connect more with their people, rather than be stuck in all the minutiae of is this working, which just remember in launchtime, everything that could go sideways is going to go sideways. That’s part of the universe and testing and you will have breakdowns before the big breakthroughs.”

34:30 “Because as a strategist, my job isn’t to judge you, oh, you’re you’re a crappy business, because you haven’t done this. My job. Cuz me I’m driven by service, my job is to help you be the best that you can be. And that means that I need to look at the data. Because, I am a data nerd.”

45:10 “ I feel like for every situation, whether you’re hiring a person or hiring a team, or buying software, it all comes down to what’s your desired outcome? What are  the things that they must be able to do? What are your must haves versus your desires, because you always have an expectation, everyone, everyone has an expectation, they come into a conversation, and they’re expecting something. If you’re not clear on your expectations, it’s hard for you to evaluate if the other person can meet those expectations. It’s all about- does my crazy match, you’re crazy. And I say that really, really bluntly, because I know I’m crazy. And I can usually tell if my crazy can put up with your crazy. I’m a business owner, you’re a business owner, you have boundaries, I have boundaries. And if I can’t hold my boundaries with you in just our first conversation, we should not work together.”

57:00 “But be mindful that your success is defined differently than someone else’s. And a win in an early business could be holy crap. Two people said yes to my thingThat’s amazing. Shoot, two people said yes! One person said Yes. Cool. You have a thing that someone has said Yes, they’ve given you a validation that this particular offer is something that they might be interested in. Now you get to experience it with them, and create something that you may be able to sell again.”
